When I am writing a story everything is inspiration. I wrote 250 pages of poetry for my last book and I expect I will write as much for this one.
Day Dreamer Girl
Daydreamer
Oh dear dreamer girl,
thoughts,
Unbridled in a fantasy world.
Though I see you here with me,
Your eyes and smiles,
Show you running free,
Through the clouds,
Of daytime dreams.
Where, Oh Where can you be?
Your heart, your soul, your senses,
Blow like the wind.
Oh where, Oh where have you been?
Come back, Come back home,
Sweet, sweet, dreamer girl.
There is room for you here.
The book that you write,
Is not lived in the sky.
Dear eyes, fluttering free,
Peering through the glass of window dreams.
Come back home.
Leave the dreams, leave the sighs,
for the floating clouds passing by.
There is room here.
Someone hears your prayers,
Come back home!
