Silent Soul

Captive within the walls of my own restrictions,

A world I dare not step too far within or without,

The invisible barriers set limits in my mind,

My legs obeyed and never dared desire more,

I had only trod a few steps further down the road,

The sun beamed down its approval on my back,

My world expanded and in the free fall I gasped,

Today I am free!
